Actor Luke Bracey has signed on to portray FBI Agent Johnny Utah Alcon’s reboot of Point Break. The role was originally held by Keanu Reeves, and escalated him from stoner fame (Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure) to action star.

Gerard Butler has also signed on to play Bohdi, with Ericson Core at the helm. No release date has been set, though sources say it will retain the original story of an FBI agent infiltrating a ring of criminals but will be set in the world of extreme sports.
