News: Warner Bros. Plan adaption of 'Harry Potter' Spinoff Series

         Today, Warner Bros. announced plans to adapt J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter spinoff series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them into "three megamovies."

         WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara has been tight-lipped on the adaption until recently, only stating that “the hope is that we’re going to build a film franchise.”

         "Set initially in New York about seven decades before the start of the Harry Potter story, the films will follow magizoologist Newt Scamander. They’re not prequels or sequels, but an 'extension of the wizarding world.'"
