In comparison, past Dream Works Animation movies How to Train Your Dragon and The Croods opened to $12.1 million and $11.6 million, respectively.The animated adventure, is based on the 1960's cartoon The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, where the two had small segments during the shows tenure.
