In January it was revealed that the German actor would portray the "initial villain in the Avengers sequel. Recently Kretschmann made comments on his role saying that Baron von Strucker would be seen in multiple movies, though he could not say specifically witch future MCU movies he would be apart of. Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to release May 1, 2015.
“That's great of course,” he said. “I have a multi-picture deal which means I will not only appear in the 2nd part, but they're planning with me for a longer period of time. But I don't know details yet, they're keeping their cards close to their chest - top secret!”
